Third Street Transportation Committee Sub-group to discuss bicycle travel: Tuesday, Nov. 28, 5:15 – 6:45pm

A sub-group of the City of Moscow Transportation Committee has been established to make a recommendation on changes to the Third Street corridor.  The Third Street sub-group will be discussing bicycle travel tomorrow night: Tuesday, November 28, 5:15 – 6:45pm in the City Council Chambers located on the 3rd floor of City Hall at 206 E. 3rd Street.  I thought this might interest many of you cyclists out there.  As I understand, the sub-group is conducting a working meeting that the public is welcome to attend and listen to the discussion but the meeting format does not accommodate public comment.  However, you can learn more by attending and send your comments to thirdstreet@ci.moscow.id.us

Bike to Work Day recap & photos!

National Bike to Work Day was enthusiastically observed for the ninth year in Moscow this May. Bike for Life was formed in 2009 by a group of Moscow bicyclists who recognized the need to celebrate the joy that comes with being on a bike. Local shops are happy to show their support by donating coffee and baked goods. Bike for Life members greeted the many friendly bicyclists at a well-travelled intersection, with free coffee, croissants and assorted bike trinkets.
