Reception for Active Travel Art Exhibit – April 12th

Don’t miss the Active in April exhibit at the Third Street Gallery!  The gallery reception is Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 5pm – 7pm featuring a presentation by Safe Routes to Schools at 5pm. Safe Routes to Schools is a national program meant to encourage students to walk and bike to school.

The exhibit showcases works created by students K – 8th grade all about active travel…what they see on their walk to school, why they like actively traveling to school and why we should walk/bike/scoot to school. The exhibit also features some of the events that Safe Routes has created throughout the last few years with the intention of encouraging kids to walk, bike, roll or bus to school.

For more information contact the SR2S Coordinator Brooke Lowry at blowry@uidaho.edu or visit www.SR2Smoscow.com.

Third Street Gallery is located at 206 E. Third Street, Moscow.  Hours are M-F 8-5 pm.
